ABOUT US
The children in our care learn through play and exploration of the environment both inside and out. This is achieved through flexible learning opportunities that are linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage and based on the child's own interests.
Every child and their family are unique, as a setting we will treat them as individuals and provide the same opportunities for all.
The staff team and learning environment provides stimulation to ensure that our high expectations of the children are met.
"We celebrate the uniqueness of enquiring young minds and work hard to foster self-confidence and independent thought whilst promoting the importance of consideration for other people and the world around us."
We are delighted to have an outstanding report from Ofsted which you can view here
We gained our smile award in April 2016 in recognition of our healthy snacks and promotion of good oral health. This year we also received a food hygiene rating of 5.
We are committed to becoming a more environmentally friendly setting, we have made several changes including introducing an Eco policy, gaining our gold green tree award and becoming an Eco school. We have an Eco committee of children and staff and we teach about the environment throughout our curriculum.
Our Mission statement
Our mission is to provide young children with a safe and caring environment where they are free to explore, take risks and thrive. All children are treated as individuals, and we will endeavor to support all children to reach their full potential through our child led approach.
Parents and/or carers are integral in children’s development, and we will actively work in partnership with them.
As a team we are highly skilled and passionate about what we do, we are committed to continued professional development.
We value outdoor play and the many benefits it has to children’s development and wellbeing; we promote going outside in all weathers throughout the year
